Looking for long metric bolts

I am trying to source some longer (13.5+ inch, 350+mm) 12 mm grade 8 or 10 bolts for an automotive application. Does anyone know where these can be had?

I would be big time surprised to find those available as an off the shelf item, what about having them made?

I would be OK with that too depending on pricing. I suppose for that matter, I could make some out of 12mm Hex and send them off for heat treating. I'm not sure what it would cost for small quantity heat treating like that.

Having them made or making them is is likely going to be your only option, although it's a big world so perhaps you can find them.

Could the design allow for a 1/2" Hex head cap screw as an option , they are available in 14"

I may do that. It is for a motorcycle engine bolt so it would be nice to keep it metric like everything else. My thinking was that it would be a tougher sell if the bolt in this product was standard.

That may be what I need. It doesn't really specify if it is full thread or partial thread. I don't really need to get 150 of them right now, either. Maybe when it goes big time
