Why TC229.? It is an old machine. You should look at the TC-S2A or TC-S2C. They are much faster and reasonably priced.

I have a nice TC-229 in my shop that I am willing to sell because my shop is moving. Its very clean and not used much since we have had it.

A friend of mine has two Brother machines. One is a TC-228, the other a TC-S2A.

He bought a Fanuc Robodrill α-T21iFLb from Methods Machine Tool recently. His Brother machines are "fs".
