    IS THIS A GOOD DEAL??

Came across this Logan just wondering if you think its a good deal. I am going to be making flashlight bodies, heads, and tail caps. Will this be able to handle that. If not can you make a recommendation on a lathe.

I don't know if it's a good deal or not, but here's some history:

You can get a brand new Grizzly 10 x 22 for the same money, but I can't say if it would be a better lathe or not.

If the ways are still in good shape, I would go with the logan, the 1-3/4" spindle bore is also a big plus.

All things look good. Especially the new paint. Which is why I would be suspicious. Call up an independent machinist and pay him a $100 to check it out for you. Just like you would hire a mechanic to check out a used car.

    Good luck
