Just a general question to CNC turning users out there... Our business is growing and I have started researching the various turning centers on the market. I am looking for 2-spindle 2 turret machines with a 2~2.5" bar capacity, around 20hp or more on both spindles. Question is - which ones perfom well over the long haul? We have brand new Emco Hyperturns, but they seem to have durability issues. The old Mazak Multilplex machines we have leak, but seem to stay running better than our brand new Emcos. So who makes a machine that I can count on for years of reliable service?
We represent Yama Seiki which has always delivered a real solid lathe in the industry. I would strongly recommend this lathe, request a quote from us and check out what we can do for your application. References to call and talk to other shop owners and operators is no problem, take your time and actually call these guys and see what they think. If this appears to be a good fit for your shop, we would absolutely welcome you to the Yama Seiki line and all of its support. We hope to assist you in any way possible.
Thanks,
Tim
