how? a few years back I believe thomson "invented" a new way to increase accuracy on rolled threads.... used to be the rod went thru the rolling head that squeezed the threads into it at a constant speed. thomsons german plant decided to add feedback on rolled output side and vary the roller squeeze thing speed to make the threads more accurate. made a big difference and now there are rolled screws with lots more accuracy than in the past. u might check prices from other sources too while you are at it since I know thomson has them, others probably do too. btw, the 'precision' rolled screws are still not AS accurate as ground ones - i'd question anyone who says they are.
