3Axis Nema 23 Gear stepper motor 15:1 ratio 1810 oz CNC | eBay
I'm building a cnc router for my high school metal shop. I almost have it finished and have been looking for stepper motors. I have been doing some research and i think i need ~450 oz. in or more motors. The best deal i could find was on ebay for $460 which is a little out of my budget right now.
So my question is where can i find used motors or some cheaper new ones.
I cant wait to get this finished.

Those things are geared down like crazy to get the rated torque. They are about a 120 oz/in motor. I don't think they are well matched to a router.
I think you need to keep researching. A lot of users here get stuff from Keling. Do a few forum searches for information about the Gecko G540. Some of the threads have really good discussions on matching motors to drives, things to look for when selecting motors (i.e. inductance, torque at cutting speed vs holding torque).
Better to take a bit more time and not be disappointed.
