I am looking for a source for the slotted bed material. It can be either a wood or aluminum product. I just want to be able to use adjustable hold downs that slide at least in one direction. Thanks

For wood, try a store wall display board.
You can get the plain w/T-slot, Alum T-slot installed or lamented.
Check at store hardware supplies in you area.
The are 4' x 8" x 3/4" Hardboard.
