    What machine should I get?

First of all, I'm total noob.

I've decided to get small CNC machine for myself because ordering few small parts from machinist shop costs as much as the cheappest CNC Machines (500€) and I would always have to wait for at least a week to get the parts.

I need a machine that can work with aluminium, has precision of +-0,1mm and can do shapes at least around 150x150x50mm.

Since I'm noob, I would like to get a kit that has everything (software not required, I can buy it sepetarely after testing different ones).

I'm experienced in 3D product drawing with AutoCAD. Will the CNC software be hard to learn to use?

Cheaper the machine the better. I've been looking this for example: Zen Toolworks

    Any help is appreciated

To me your application may be more suited to a small mill rather than a router?

A possible option would be to buy a small mill such as this one.
    LittleMachineShop.com - Mini Mill

And then a conversion kit to turn it into a cnc machine. The conversion kits are pretty common. Here is what google turned up with a quick search.
    millplans

I have only glanced at those plans, so I in no way support them. But I do know that a large number of people have converted a mini mill to cnc with great success. If you search the forum I am sure you can find someone that posted about it.

For milling the router does not have the rigidity you need.
Look at the bench top machine forum here for small mills, depends what is available to you in Finland?

I just read about the conversion of milling machine and I'm not going to go thourgh that "Plans are in convenient booklet form and have 27 pages of drawings, instructions and pictures". I will get something that is pretty much ready to use.

Have you ever thought about designing and building your own machine. I had no clue how to build a CNC machine let alone operate it yet I was able to build my machine for less than $1000 and I can machine light metals with it. I got all the information that I needed reading suggestions from the folks on this forum. My machine is made from 1030 T-slot which I purchased on eBay. Bought parts used, new etc and in less than one year my machine was up and running making me money. If you would like to see a picture send your request to knottywoodcrafts@live.com
