    Anybody build machines to sell?

    Hello,

I am wondering if anyone builds machines to sell on. I am not in the market for one, quite the opposite actually.

I have build 5 decent machines over the last 2 years, 3 4 x 4' one larger one and one smaller one. I have just sold 2 of the 4 x 4' machines off for £2800 and £3000.
Now these machines have been used non stop for 6 months and only cost me around the £1300 mark to make including motors.

Does anybody do this for a living?

I get all the aluminium flat bar from here:
Aluminium | Aluminium Sheet | Aluminium Tube | Aluminium Warehouse

And all the ballscrews, rails, bearings etc. from here:
    CNC Router Kit 1

They used to do the aluminium extrusion frames but i cant find them on their website anymore. Mayeb an enquiry.

Seems like a good crack, selling the machines at a 2k mark up and taking less than 2 weeks to build!!

Anyone know anyplace for extrusion just incase the above dont stock it anymore?
