    Yaskawa PC NC Parts WTB

I am looking for Yaskawa PC NC parts. I have read of some demo table top mills that some people have bought. I have a machining center with a PC NC and I have had trouble from day one when I bought a new Yamage Machining center.

I would like to have a complete back up control for my machine.

I just had the machine lose spindle orientation for the tool changer. We had to modify the ladder and add circuits to the ladder to fix the problem. We have been unable to figure out what changed to cause the problem.

I am trying to find parts to keep the machine operating.

Yaskawa told me that they have no parts for the control. Yaskawa also told me that they have nobody in the company who knows anything about the control.

I've installed a few of these controls and was surprised when Yaskawa decided to get out of the CNC business. It seems like a decent control but there was just no support and like you are finding out there aren't any parts available. I would recommend you start looking into getting this machine retrofitted, I think it would save you money and headache in the long run.

    yaskawa pc nc retro fit.

I think next time I will use a Fanuc control something that I can get fixed.

    Siemens also makes controls.

Who would do a retro fit? The machine has a swing arm tool changer.

    thanks
    John

I have a lot of experience installing Mitsubishi CNC's, they make a good control and are retrofitter friendly. I'm not in the retrofit business any more, but If you are in the Midwest then give these guys a call: Eagle Machine Tool Corporation
