    60 degree v groove cutters

    any one know where i can get some in the uk. been trawling the web for hours now and can only find ones from china, and they don't look all that good. got to be 1/4" shank with as small a flat on the bottom as possible. thanks all

    Get a hardened 1/4 dowel pin, grind the 60deg point, grind 1/2 diameter and go, we always made our own engravers on the surface grinder.
    Just do not grind agressivly to loose the heat treat of the pin.
    Been doing this too long
