Depends on the type of material. Mori does not make a boring Mill that i'm aware of, so they would be out, unless you can do your parts on a standard horizontal. Toshiba has done some strange control things in the past, I don't know about the new ones. If Makino or Nigata make them, they are both high end, but none of those companies are really specialist in large boring mills. Newer Mazaks don't impress me much. You might also want to look at Kuraki. They are Japanese and all they build for the most part is HBM's. TOS actually builds large, decent ones as well, but they are European if that matters.
