Hi CNC'ers

I am trying to assist a friend to get a mill up & running however I need to educate myself to start with. Happy to pay!

Looking for a copy of the Mitsubishi Tech Manual. "A700-F700 Technical Manual 30.21MB PDF. 11/25/2008. Tech Manual ...... MDS-A-SVJ Maintenance And Adjustment Manual REV-A. 4/7/2005. Tech Manual "

The servo amplifier has been replaced / repaired & it looks like it needs setting up from scratch. Being from an electrical automation background i thought all the parameters would be initialised on start-up (?).

Maybe there is something else broken but the Z axis goes crazy on power up.

I did reply but it looks like it went AWOL??

Anyway, many thanks for the link. I did find this by google but for some strange reason I kept getting redirected to another Mitsubishi site. All good now.
