    Can't find 25mm cat 40 tool holder

    Hello,

I am using a haas VF2 and I have a large number of 25mm tools. I bought a BT40 25mm tool holder, which works in the spindle but is not compatible with the tool changer.

Does anyone know where to purchase a cat 40 tool holder for a 25mm tool?

    Thanks,
    - Andrew

    Thanks for the reply.

That link seems to be expired.

We tried running the roughing endmill with a collet, and it kept pulling out of the collet under heavy loads. We are putting a 25mm rougher 1.5 inches deep through steel full width. Part of the problem is the roughers have weldon cuts in them which hurts the collet's grip.
