Hi. I am new to CNC forum and I would like to buy a beginner's CNC
Hi,
I am very new to CNC and no experience with it (but I know a bit about G-codes since I owned a reprap prusa 3d printer before). I need some suggestions, I would like to buy a CNC and I saw this two CNC from ebay:
- 1610 CNC
- 3040 CNC
These are the things that I will possible do:
- drill some hole on plastic enclosure like this CU-1874-B Bud Industries | Mouser
- PCB designs
- in the future, I could drill holes and do some design on aluminums.
Any of the two sufficient for my goals?
As I had said, I don't have experience on CNC (but I do owned a reprap prusa 3D printer before and I am seeing that it is having the same principle with CNC - like the G-Codes and 3-axis movement).
Any recommendations is highly appreciated.
Thanks

I have a similar mill like the 1610. Dont buy it. I think its to weak. At least for work with acryl. If I were you, i would invest a bit more and buy a 3040, because the 1810 is very limited
