Smoothstepper ethernet or Xhc Mk4-v 4axis ethernet?
Smoothstepper has 6axis, cost little more with breakout terminal, and c41 pwm speed control around $270 capable mach3 and mach4? Made in where??
Xhc mk4-v 4axis ethernet 2000hz about $210 got everything build in, pwm speed control, all terminal, made in China*
I'm more familiar with Xhc because I used to have one. Smoothsteper it's something new to me. ((I need a board that are quite low noise, fwd,stop,cw rotation by software, cut thread milling, tap, readout RPM))

Smoothstepper is made in the USA, I believe. It's at least designed and supported in the USA.
I would not buy ANY chinese motion controller, unless you know for certain that every function that you need works with it. Most do not support full Mach3 functionality.

And do I even need board terminal?
