I have an inventables x-carve 1000 with NEMA 23 motors in x/y/y/z configuration.
I would like to add an A axis to it, which means I need to upgrade the control box as the GRBL driver the x-carve came with will not handle rotation.
Since I am already driving 4 motors, a single G540-based system will not support the use case:
I need a system which will support a 5th motor, at minimum, so based on multiple g214's or g215's.
I prefer a system which can use a USB interface to a parallel interface, as I will be driving it using laptop, not a fixed installation.
I am looking for someone who will sell me a system which is pre-assembled and ready to go.
Money is budgeted and in the bank.
Thanks in advance for responding.

He's still active on the Mach3 Yahoo group. Send him an email and ask him.

email sent: I guess we'll see.
honest and dumb question: is there really no-one else, and if not, why not?
Liability maybe? Or just not enough profit. Designing and building custom controls is not cheap.
Are you looking for something to run Mach3?

I'm venturing into retail controllers. I have been doing them locally and looking at creating some generic controllers for ebay and amazon. You can shoot me an email at Davy182@gmail.com
There's a guy that sells controls on Ebay, and has put a lot of links in the ebay section here.

Yeah, I had a 3 month + long discussion with him,
last fall,
he kept putting me off, then told me he had it built, even sent me a video, and then when I asked how to pay him I never heard from him again.
My conclusion was that he is importing and selling someone else's product and didn't actually have the ability to service the order.
or something. who really knows?
it was a weird experience, and kind of frustrating.
anyway, that is why I am posting here: other than that guy, I can find no one today who is advertising controller boxes as a product,
and for whatever reason he turned out to be unreliable for me.
I bought 1 ea 5 axis controller G540 from Camtronic Dan Mauch, its good. Its still working till now. The last I contacted him 2-3 years ago. I think not enough profit so that out of business.Or because of Leadshine MX4660 came out which is easy to wire and cheaper, bigger so that no one order or less order for G540...
