How to cut thru without step overs.

Hi
My friend is trying to setup a part in Visual Mill for me. He`s new to VM and
we have questions. I`m doing a custom vent plate for heating and cooling.
The part is similar in design to wood lattice.
We used advanced pocketing but the tool steps over to do each lattice hole.
To save time we wanted to use just one pass to cut thru the part to define
the shape. We can`t seem to find the correct machining operation.

I believe that you (I would) want to use 2.5D profiling with a 3D entry.
This will give you 1 perimeter pass per cutout.

Hi All
Thanks for the replies. 2.5D profiling is the answer.
We looked at the help. Didn`t notice any samples in
the help files that were similar to what we were cutting.
As a result, we were lost.
