This is probably one for DareBee, but he may not be back till Monday. Have you asked this question on the Mecsoft Support Forum??
Setting up toolpath for a 4th axis rotary parallel finishing pass, I get an error that says, Rotation Axis is not aligned with the center of the part. Do you want to proceed?
I just set up my fourth axis, so I have never done this before. There are a ton of problems I am having, but I think if I can determine what is causing this error, I may be able to sort out the rest of the issues alone.
Can anyone suggest what might cause this error message? My part is just a sample part (a tube) centered on 0,0,0 and extruded along the X axis. In the Machine set-up tab, I have the 4th axis rotary center at 0,0,0 and under rotary axis, (X Axis) is selected. I then set up a rotate table with 0 as the Table rotation angle. Then when I pick 4th axis parallel finishing, i get the above error.
Any help greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
Shawn

You have to align the MCS with WCS and both should be on the center of the part... The stock must be aligned with part too...
