| VisualMill versus GibbsCAM? which is easier to use? cheaper? can these both import 3d cad models from Solidworks in solidworks native format? do either of these have a post processor for Mach 3? |

| VisualMill is a great CAM. The Pro version is around 4500 (as listed directly on their site). I understand that Gibbs (for comparable functionality) is WAY more money. Again - it is listed on their site how much the SW plugin is (500 I think). As I told you in the other thread, it does have a M3 post, good or bad, I don't know, I don't use M3. I don't know if the 2 programs are comparable in operation, because they are NOT comparable in price point so when I bought CAM I didn't compare them. I am very happy with VMPro, FWIW
