    VM5 Toolpath starting point

I am playing around with VM5 to do some profiling. How do I set a point for the tool path to start. Don't seem to be able to find it in the help files.

    Thanks

Yeah, the manuals etc.. leave a bit to be desired.

Anywho, they do have some on-line video worth watching. IIRC..

What I have been doing is, select the curve in question with the pointer/arrow, it should turn yellow (on mine anyway). You can see the dot on the line somewhere, that is the starting point. Now, go to the right side, or get to the curve edit tools (on mine the toolbar is on the right). There is a selection for changing start point on curve. Now, sometimes it will let me do it, and others not. Sometimes it states that the selection is not a valid curve.

But once you have the curve selected, get the "move start point in curve edit tools" selected, you can then drag that point around the curve to a place that suits you.

Hope this helps a little. I am a real newb...

    Good luck..
