| G2 and G3 where are you? I’m using /learning Alibre 10 Pro packaged with VM 5 and I have generated a few programs on the CAM in between learning the CAD. However I do not see the use of G2 or G3 circular interpolation left and right in the 2 ½ axis mode. Am I doing something wrong here? I would expect the use of those ‘G’ codes in that mode. I understand how it is doing what it is doing ... just not why. This would make very memory intensive programs.Steve |

| machine preferences for G2 & G3 I have VM6 but if i recall it works the same in VM5. Go to machine preferences and unselect Output arcs as linear segments. hope that helps |
