G2 and G3 where are you?

I’m using /learning Alibre 10 Pro packaged with VM 5 and I have generated a few programs on the CAM in between learning the CAD. However I do not see the use of G2 or G3 circular interpolation left and right in the 2 ½ axis mode. Am I doing something wrong here? I would expect the use of those ‘G’ codes in that mode. I understand how it is doing what it is doing ... just not why. This would make very memory intensive programs.

I have VM6 but if i recall it works the same in VM5. Go to machine preferences and unselect Output arcs as linear segments. hope that helps

...I found it in the book...It is the same as VM6.
