Need Help! what interface to use with visualmill - CNCzone.com-The Largest Machinist Community on the net!

How does this software (visual mill) drive the stepper moters via printer port? or serial 9pin db? And where can I get the schematic? Thanks for any input.

It doesn't. Visual Mill is not CNC controller software, it's CAM software. All it does is output code (G-code) for the CNC controller to follow. You will need CNC controller software to drive your machine. --ch

Thanks chmillman for your kind help. Are there a lot of cnc controller software out there? If you know any, can you direct me? or even names so I can google search them? Thanks again. By the way I am making the whole thing from the scratch even electronics, so any help from the cnczone community will be greatly appreciated.
