| Editing G-Codes -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- hi there i'm new on here and this is my first situation. I've created my post processor g code for a siemens, but the code is slighty different to what our system likes. i want to change the way visualmill writes the g-code. eg..... M6 T1 is on the same line but our cnc will not work unless these are on seperate lines M6 T1 I've tried going into utilities and then hitting GCode editor, but nothing seem to happen? my question is...? is there a way where i can edit the g code and script it for my cnc. and suggestion are welcome thanks |

| I run 840D, not 802D so I'm not sure how similar the controls are. Look at the link below for any of the Siemens manuals you should need. The Siemens website is just huge, you could spend an entire day just on that site and never see the same page twice! Took me a while to track down all the manuals (PDF). Hope it helps. | Just call, email support@mecsoft.com, or go to their support forum and they will help you. I had post questions and Mecsoft fixed my problem the exact same day. |
