    Problem with Copy/Paste and Array/mirror.

In V.M. whenever i copy and paste, or create an array, its stacks double and sometimes triple the lines on top of each other, which is painstakingly annoying to sit through and delete the multiples. If i left them and simply dragged over an area to select mill features, it would cut both lines and take twice as long.

Any idea how to make it only paste ONE copy of objects?

Check and make sure that you have 0 in the # of z copies. That one got me, and still gets me, too.

Hmmm, i see. that solves the array. thanks!

But it also happens when i simply ctrl-c/ctrl-v. I wonder if its a setting that can be adjusted to create only 1 copy instead of 3.

I have the same problem with the copy and paste function. It seems that if you copy and paste for every time you do it there will be double what you want. Multiplying on the more complex parts that you continue to copy. i tried copying the part 6 times to get them spread out in my stock the way I wanted them, and each one had twice as many stacked ontop of it as the previous.... it's terribly annoying. Any suggestions of what I need to do to stop this?

    MecSoft

I Contacted MecSoft about it, and the support guy wasn't able to tell me why exactly the copy/paste creates more then 1 copy.
BUT he did suggest using the "Move ..." command in place of it. In the Move ... window you can select how many copies, and exactly where you want the copy to go.

I called them too, and it seems it only makes duplicates when you do a copy/paste using the keyboard short cuts... if you right click and select copy, then right click again and select paste, for some reason it doesn't do it... Nor does it make duplicates if you copy/paste using the drop down menus at the top.
The rep could not tell me why it is like that, nor could he tell me that they would fix it and offer updates...
