    Metric parts with imperial tooling?

Is it possible to work in mm but still use imperial tooling settings in visual mill? Not a huge deal but it would be nice to not have to waste time on the calculator converting units.

You would have to set your machine up as MM and enter your tools in the tool table as metric sizes (instead of a 1/4EM it would be 6.35MM).

But that would probably be more work than converting the dimensions. I generally draw everything in Alibre as MM then import to VM as inches. No need to convert.
