Facets with V-carve but not with other MOPs

I've tried a bunch of things to get rid of the faceting on some text but I can't figure it out. V-carving produces these facets but other MOPs don't although they do not produce the correct cuts. I also cannot convert any of the V-carve toolpaths to arcs. Adjusting the tolerance finer improves it to a point then it gets worse. These facets are actually outputting in the code and not a rendering artifact. Any ideas?

    V carving is a 3D process.
To remove facets you will need to use "cut arc fitting"
If cut arc fitting is not available in the MOP (IDK off the top of my head and haven't looked it up) then you will have to do it with toolpath editer (Pro product only).

Another potential option is to change the triangle mesh of your imported part. This may need to be done at the CAD level depending on your scenario.

    Thanks Darebee,

Here is the problem. The arc fitting is not available in the V-carving MOP so that leaves me to the toolpath editor (I have the Pro). When I try it in the toolpath editor it does nothing. I doesn't change anything in the code no matter what parameters I punch in. I also tried adjusting the meshing options and it is a fine as it gets but I'm not even using a part I'm just experimenting with the V-carving on a generic box stock. If I cut a curve with any other MOP it is very smooth even if there are no arcs except for the V-carve.

I'll mess with it a little more then see what Mecsoft says. Thanks

In the toolpath editor - you have to physically select the sections to apply arc fitting to.
    - you can select by highlighting text.
    - you can select graphically using the tools provided in the editor.
    - your MOP will go RED in VM, do NOT regenerate that MOP, VM does not recognize that you have changed it and wanted it changed, all it knows is that the path is not what it calculated and shows up as wrong.

    Thanks Darebee,

After awhile I tried doing that since it didn't seem to do it universally but still no luck. It doesn't change anything in the code. Mecsoft is looking into it as they were able to generate very smooth V-carving toolpaths. Wierd. It seems as though the tolerance setting on my v-carve MOP maxes out at around .01 even though I can change it to whatever I want.
