| What Siemens Control are you working with (840D) ? Why are you posting here in the VB area? Are you working on a VB app.? Do you have any of the Siemens Control manuals? If, not I might be able to help you with a free download (PDF), of the manuals that could help you. I work with Siemens (840D), you can open any g-code file in MS Notepad, If you are not able to edit inside the Siemens Control. You should be able to though. One thing is you can't edit a program while it is running. And once you do edit a program, make sure that it is re-loaded so that the edits are also loaded into the control. Post a sample text file (g-code) here, If possible. Jerry . |
