I can have only the Campbell board powered up and reset the button and as soon as I start the VFD, it triggers an E-stop. Tried moving the BOB away from the VFD but still happens. Any Ideas?

You can put a .047 uF cap across each limit input right at the BOB.
If the input is just a non filtered TTL input , it will be sensitive to noise coming in on limit switch wires.

LK, You hit the nail on the head. after checking voltages and doing a bunch of re-wiring to re-confirm correct 220v 110v and stray ground loop voltages I finally found about 30 volts of induced current in the wiring to the limit terminal E-stop switch that turns the contactor on for the VFD, and also triggers an E-stop in Mach3 through the same shielded cable going into the aux limit input on the BOB. Going to run a separate cable for the 110v and the limit input and install the .047uf caps as insurance. Also in checking all of this, I noticed that the BOB Led's at the step and direction outputs would actually glow when I turned the output of the VFD on (actually running the spindle and doing nothing else) so I'm going to move the BOB away from that "RFD sprayer" Thanks again very much for pointing me in the right direction. After running a relay for the contactor instead of running the 110v up to the ESD switch no more e-stops! Now on to figuring out how to control the VFD with the Campbell BOB plus. Wayne

And the Campbell board the original transformer and servo motors as well as the original 12v transformer. Can pretty much everything else except wiring and read read read. I tried to document all of my conversion and will help as much as I can but will probably not answer information that is already here. The best thing to do is pick the drives and BOB then find someone on here with the same setup and read all of their posts and take notes and look at pics. HTH

I second the VIPER drivers. I have them and use them. Work wonders.

Also, cnc4pc.com Arturo is REALLY helpful.

I will try to get some pics but haven't had a lot of time to work with it although what i have done with it has been faultless. YouTube ycm40 Mach 3 and there is video of the last I cut I believe. I will upload the cutting of the flanges I made for my ls1 engine tomorrow if they're not there already.
