Its important that the main capacitor be no more than about 8" from the viper drives. Ive had a number of users run wires from the capacitor, to a breaker/disconnect then back to the drives. This will cause the drives to possibly fail over time due to the onboard cap to overheat. Put breakers before the main capacitor. The best place is before the transformer. Also don't put any breakers or switches between the drive and motor, since connecting and disconnecting can cause high voltage arcing. (This acts the same as breaker points firing an ignition coil to a sparkplug in a gas engine.)
