drive delivery

Larry,
drives arrived now the tricky part , fitting them.I have a choice of 4 machines
to fit them to. one has glass scales instead of encoders will the boards work with glass scales.

You can use a glass scale if it has a A and B channel quadrature output.

BTW, since i sent you those drives, i've added some components for hardware current limiting. It makes the drive really tough.
I will send you the parts and instructions to add them. Do you have a fine point soldering iron ?

Its hard to get big caps rated at 200V, so if you can get 8000-10000 uF then that should be ok.
You can use 2 4800 uf's in parallel.

The trick is to keep the wires less that 8-10" between the main cap and the drives. This means NO running to a remote fuse or breaker after the main cap.
