Due to one of the parts i use on the viper drives (a SN75452 soic) which became impossible to get, i am in the middle of redesigning the drives (v200 and V95) .
Texas Instruments shut down a number of factories due to the recession and many parts are as scarce as hens teeth.
Now i see the part is in stock again (was out for 4 months) at Digikey after the said they wouln't ge getting them until the end of the summer. Many suppliers don't stock parts now and only will take bulk orders of at least 2000 parts.
My big decision is do i make a small change and get some proto boards fast or take a bit longer and do all the changes that i planned,
So i've decided to take a bit longer to make some major changes to both drives and not use single sourced chips if possible.
I appologize to a number of people who have been waiting patiently for a few weeks.
