I'm getting around to the mb1 that I have and am wondering if I should go for the 250's as the cap from the original ps is rated at 150v.
I know the 200's are rated for 170v but while trying a couple out I'm continualy blowing the mosfets.
Are they based on the same board layout as the 200's?
Replacing the mosfets has caused some damage to the solder traces so I might go with new and thought I could use the 250's if they would be a better solution.
The 3 200's I have in the kmb1 are running like a dream now.
What is the price difference between the 200's and 250's?
Kind rgds P.
The V250's use 98amp 600 volt IGBT's and the V200's use 56 mp 250 volt MosFets. There are other changes like different Sense resistors and increased current level.
The PCB is the same, but since you bought yours, i've improved the Short-circuit protection.
If the same boards blow, it may be a bad zener on the gate, 2104 or regulator.
If you want to sent them back I can repair and upgrade them to V250 specs.
How big are the motors ? continous current and physical size ? (dia and length )
