Update to the CNC Workshop – Low Cost Lodging

As the title suggests, we have an economical and convenient option for lodging at the Digital Machinist CNC Workshop this June. We have worked out an agreement with Eastern Michigan University for use of their dorms during the event. EMU is located only three miles away from the campus of Washtenaw Community College, making it one of the closest lodging options.

For more information on this and other details of the workshop, visit our Digital Machinist CNC Workshop forum at Workshop Information

As of today (6/14), EMU has no more rooms available.

I stayed at the Lamp Post Inn, also about 3 miles away. Quite reasonable at about $50 per night, and some good eating up that direction. Hope George will add that to the list for next year, and perhaps arrange a slightly better rate.

Also, the entire crew from Novatron was staying there also, so we had some interesting conversations over breakfast.
