FAQ ON WEB ADVERTISING

How long will my ad run for?

Your banner will appear for 30 days from your start date and be rotated along with the other advertisers banners. Premium Campaigns are contracted for monthly periods with a 3 month minimum commitment.

How do I know how many impression and click through I'm getting?

We have a real time online stats program which you can access with your own personal username and password to view your account stats. You can view total impressions, click through, percentages and statistics, graphs broken down by day, week, month and per banner so you can evaluate your campaign and its progress at anytime.

How many different banners should I run and how often should I change them?

We recommend using at least 2-4 banners in rotation and then a complete change out approximately every 4 weeks for maximum effectiveness and click through rates. As banners are seen many times the branding effect builds but click through response rates will drop dramatically as banners become "stale".

It is important to keep it fresh and add new banners to replace older ones within this recommended time period. This will garner much more bang for the buck and any cost of producing additional banners will be insignificant relative to the gain in response.

Do I create the banners or will you? What are the specifications?

Either you can create the banners or you can have one of our designers do it for you (fees will vary depending on how many banners and complexity). If you are having us design the banner you will deal directly with the designer to discuss specifications, requirements and fees.

If you are creating the banner we will accept gif or jpgs as well as text based (HTML) banners. HTML banners should be in the form of an html table which can be nested or complex if necessary to enhance design. If you are creating an image file of jpg or gif format we require the file to be 25kb or less and 350x100, 350x350 (width x height) at this time although other dimensions may soon be allowed. You can also use self contained flash banners. We reserve the right to refuse any specific banner or ad if it does not meet our requirements.

Why Banners- Do they really work?

Choosing a banner campaign on CNCzone might actually be the best method of advertising your site. "But Banners don't work" I hear you say! In fact, banner advertising has been proven to increase consumer recall and brand name identification beyond the powers of many more traditional mediums. With advertising on our site it "pre-qualifies" your customers and clicks. So no paying for accidental clicks.

It's true that banner ads traditionally receive click-through-ratios of 1% and text ads can increase this five fold, but there are real advantages to banner advertising - brand building. Studies show that banner ads can build your website's brand in the same way that advertising on TV or in print.

Unlike text ads, banners are now able to provide interactivity. Rich media or HTML banners not only display your brand but also offer the opportunity for the viewer to search for a product on your site or for you to capture their contact details immediately.
