Nice!! Everybody that I talk to that has the Fidia controls really likes them. You obviously have certain work targeted..what are you cutting with a large machine like this?

sadly thats about the only size part you would be able to make on that fidia where you could get full rotations of the spindle like that.

try making something bigger than that and you'll over travel.

where i work we have 4 fidia's and i hate them with a passion

How is it you bought 4 Fidia machines that are all to small?
We hav not hit the limit one and the size of parts almost fill out the machine table.

So far the machine performs nice.

If you run out during the head rotation, how about putting in a shorter tool?
