    Lasercut Pumpkin

    So with Halloween coming up soon, I thought that I would share this video that was produced here at UCSC using our laser cutter.

    This whole project was masterminded by Ian Rickard. I agree the rotary axis (also created with the laser cutter) is particularly cool.

    Thanks! This was the last of a batch of pumpkins we cut. The rest were made as centerpieces/table numbers for a wedding (links to full size):




    Oh, and yeah, I know I misspelled acknowledgements in the video.

    Definitely a cool use of a tool...

    I went Tim Taylor style, used a Sawzall and Jigsaw. Pumpkins were done in about 3 minutes.
