    milling

    Hy guys I would like to know what would the best matel to use, to machine knive for a earth haugger to drill holes in ground for wooden posts. I do not want to have them tempered rockwell. Sorry for my engliche cause I am french.

    Hot roll Steel would be your cheapest and would do just fine, or stainless that's what mine is made out of. Most of the ones I've seen are steel. Hope this helps.

    Hard Facing welded onto the cutting tip will help it stay sharp and reduce wear. The Hot Rolled Steal that CNCJUNKY makes note of will work fine as you will need a strong but flexible type of steal.
