I made the encoder housings
I want A easy Job
note had to mill slot for wire for got that and 1 time slot too small
took more time to figure out
the dimensions of the housing

what is that do we really need that when the red light is on is that good or bad
you can see the tops of the power supply
is this more stuff you really need

Y axis ball screw test fit
dont take out the paper tube well the tube all most fell aparrtt becouse IM SO SLOW
i know the pis is fussie
but you get on your back to take the pictures

here were the rubber hits the road

test fit of Y axis there were isues with the tapered dowel pins
as to possible turn then in to bolt holes so there is a 4 bolt pattern
like a 4 bolt main bearing on a big bolck engin\e
also did not have a taper dowel pin reamer i mean how much stuff do you need?

Y axis assemblie used vbx bearings roton ball screws 3/4 dia
I turned the ball screws on a lebond lathe with a carbide tool bit
turned the ball screw down to 15 mm for the vbx bearings then
cut it to 14 mm for threads lathe dident have metric so used 20 threads per inch
as the coarser the thread the deeper you have to go you will see more pic in X axis
