Upon inspecting a cnc machine build i am working on, I found a crack in my Z coupling, ...where can I find a coupling like this....h.ell for that matter, what do you call this particular type of coupling? I want to apologize for the pics, I am not sure you can see the crack in the pic. The object must be to small for me to properly focus in on. The size of the coupling (I hope this is correct) is .750 dia. and .900 Long. On one end the I.D. is .250, on the other it's about .187. Some help please, because it's the little matters like these that are the most frustrating. |

I looked at Helical products company, Inc, sd/spi (or the other way around) rino, small parts and even ebay and can't seem to find the coupling size I need (I don't understand the charting for this type coupling): Helical type coupling .750 dia. .900 leng. .187 bore on one side .250 on the other side |

| I never use aluminum helical for servo's, they never seem to last, it is worth paying the extra for stainless version, the aluminum is OK for encoders.
The helical usually give a number for the shaft dia, In imperial, I believe this is in 1/16ths but the Helical site will tell you. Al.
