Being new to CNC and after reading through the forums I thought I had better ask for any advice before starting my conversion of king manual mill with a 9x42 bed, this mill has only 20 hrs run time so I thought I would use the existing 1 1/4 - 6 TPI screws. Dont think I have to gear with the 906 oz/in steppers producing 1290 lbs according to the calculation found in the forum. Following is the kit I have chosen. NEMA 34 Stepper Motor 3 Axis CNC Kit: 1: 3 PCS KL8078, 80A/7.8A Over-Current, Over-Voltage & Short-Circuit Protection, Automatic Idle-Current Reduction Driver specification: http://www.kelinginc.net/KLDriver.html 2: 3 PCS NEMA 34-906 oz-in Motors (KL34H295-43-8A (Single Shaft) Motor Specification: http://www.kelinginc.net/SMotorstock.html 3: 1 PCS KL-6515, 65V/ 15A,Unregulated Power Supply 1000W, 2 Regulated outputs 5Vdc and 12Vdc at 1A Power Supply Specification: http://www.kelinginc.net/SwitchingPowerSupply.html 4:1 PCS C10 Breakout board, E-Stop or Limit Switch can be wired Wiring Diagram: http://www.kelinginc.net/KL-5042wiring.pdf Thanks in advance for any suggestions you may have. I will post progress here as I go with Pics Hope I posted in the right forum! |
