here are the pics from my previous post/question of whether or not I can use a 1980's robotic arm controller card, (that controlled six stepper motors), for cnc machining using turbocad program.
Also, the voltage is 12.8-14 volts @ 4amps. Any suggestions to power the card? Wall pack or toroidal transformer? http://s211.photobucket.com/albums/bb197/praetor1/
pic's 1138 and 1139 shows the circuit board. It's RS232 compatable and you can see where the stepper motors get plugged into, white connectors along the top row.
In pic's 1150 and 1151 you can see the raised "veining", if you will, along the etched circuits. as I said in my previous posting, if this a problem I can just etch a copy of this board with a PCB Etching kit, correct? |
