    DB180 desktop cnc

    HI,
    i'm italian and i build my first cnc.
    the machine is build in aluminum and the dimension are 540x560x780mm.
    the table size is 300x200mm and the traversing range x/y/z are 180/150/80.
    weight is around 100kg.
    the motor are p.p 2Nm and the electronic is by edingcnc.

    That is a lovely machine. It's better looking than many commercial machines. It would be interesting to see the mechanism of the axes more closely. What spindle did you use?

    I use a normal kress for the spindle, but i would to change with a better and professional spindle.
    for the axis x and z i use a pulley and htd belt, and for the y axes the motor in connect directly. I use this for have a compact dimensions of machine.
    I take a photo close.

    Wow, that is one awesome compact tabletop machine. I am very impressed with you carving. Was that in brass?

    I agree, probably the best DIY machine I have ever seen. Good job.

    Congratulations on one of the best bench top milling machines I've seen in a long time.

    The enclosure looks VERY professional,

    Would you have any drawings you would be prepared to share? or a few more close up photo's.

    This looks like a very high quality build and the work its produced looks excellent.
    Congratulations from me as well.I would also be interested in more pictures and details;
    ball screw size,rail size frame material etc.With this sort of quality there is a lot to admire
    and learn.Thankyou for posting.
