I went to a local surplus supplier (Acme Surplus in Sanford, FL) this morning looking for various small parts and found this sitting outside. It's a little over 800 pounds including the loose pieces and he will sell it for $800. If I had the extra cash I'd buy it and make some sort of a milling machine from it.... but I don't have the floor space or funds right now so I figured I'd let everyone here know about it in case someone is interested before he sells it for scrap weight to a recycler.
It measures around 66 inches high, base is almost 48 inches square, the rear column consists of the extrusions plus a heavy 1 inch thick piece of aluminum. Also has a 1 inch thick aluminum plate where you'd mount the Y-axis linear guides, and 1 inch thick plate in the top section extending out to where Z-axis guides would go.
