Most oil cans have a brass nozzle that will displace the ball and somewhat seal in the hole to allow forcing oil through the ways.
I have started on my Mill Conversion. First step is to clean down the machine and replace the X screw to a ball screw. The new ball screw has been ordered from Zapp Automation, very helpful service in machining and selecting the repalcement ballscrew. The TOS FN20 has power feed on all 3 Axis. The X was always a bit stiff and I have removed the table along with several coats of paint. I am the second owner of this machine since new. While cleaning I found these oil ports with a check ball. Has anyone seen this type of oil port? What kind of oil can or attachement is used to force the oil into the piping without squirting it all over the face of the machine?
Any links or pictures would be most helpful.
Thanks.
