    GEEEEEZ!!

This is really getting old folks. This will probably be my last post in this thread because of needing to get some work done. To say that BobCAD DOESN'T work with Vista is FALSE. Now cut that out! There have been some issues....Here are some facts.

    1. One in every 50+ users have strange issues with Vista that we look into.
    2. When we find a solution, we post it, upload it or do whatever we need to do to fix the problem and notify the user. Yes, that even means you.
    3. We haven't found a need to allow customers to cut parts on their own in order to TEST the system. We supply more than a sufficient amount of solutions to educate a prospective buyer before they make a purchase.
    4. WE LOVE IT WHEN THE CUSTOMER IS RIGHT!!!!!
    5. In the situation where a system is sold to someone incorrectly and our product WILL NOT WORK, we give the company their money back and then try to develop what they actually needed in the first place in order to have a better product.
    6. BobCAD technical support works diligently to supply better and more effective solutions all the time so that customers achieve success faster.
    7. How about posting something interesting for a change. Maybe educational or technical so that we can increase the level of knowledge around here or is everyone off for the Holidays with nothing better to do?????
    8. We like customer feedback. We welcome it. We use it to improve the product.
    9. If you read this and have a problem then call me directly at the following toll free number (I'll pay for the call) 877-262-2231. I would be happy to talk to you.
    10. Yes, I work for BobCAD and we encourage our employees to get out onto the web and see what's going on in this ever changing world of manufacturing.

    Khalid,
Your PR would improve if you learned to write better.

then why not give the man his money back ? he was told that it would work with vista , and there are issues with running it on vista .it s a no brainer ,he's dissatisfied with his purchase at which any company that offers a refund for dissatisfation has a legal obligation to uphold that policy

in the other post he fell pretty short of being insulted when he was told to try to conduct himself in a somewhat professional manner , then the door was shut on the thread , i didn t see anything inappropriate or inacurrate , in his complaint .was this fair to him ?

as far as it being bs that the customer is always right , the customer knows what he wants ,the customer has expectations that the product will perform as advertised and the customer knows what he is willing to spend his money on and where to spend it , this is what makes the customer always right , and if certain guidelines are not met the customer will go elsewhere period ,which isn t good for any business

as i stated previously bobcad has a large customer base and a lot of happy customers so obviously youve been doing something right , but your not going to keep everyone happy ,and so be it , and if you make good for unhappy customers , the posibility of them coming back is far greater than simply closing the door on them
i'm not trying to say anything bad ,i'm just pointing out a simple observation

I know of another person who got a refund. Took a while before he got it but then he kept the dongle and still has the ability to run the program.

He said he would not return it until he got his money but Bobcad wanted the dongle before refunding.

Anyhow, I am saying this because I know Bobcad has refunded before to my knowledge.

One thing about Vista though. I turn off the security and replace the pre-installed security with my own. I wonder if this could have anything to do with the problems. Many other programs are having the same issues. CAD and CAM programs alike. So with the fact there may be thousands of ways a person configures their own system one could surmise that Bobcad may have issues with that person computers but not another persons.

BTW: as a side note Bobcad does have many getting started tutorials and manual on their support sight. They did not have them when I received my 2007 version but I still never had things as bad as this person.
