    Angry Don't Buy anything PACER

This machine has provided no end of problems from the day it arrived
No Training form the vendor - wire insulation crimped in swarf vacuum, hence blowing fuses during production, ultimately blowing mother board, various i/c's burning out - the spindle (three of them burning out due to poor bearing design) - ultimately I had to source another more reliable spindle - no support from manufacturer or distributor - then, a new distributor takes over - same inaction from them - the whole system was approx $30,000.00 AUD for a load of junk metal. As the machine is now obsolete and I am in Sydney - they are in the UK - why do they need to worry. Their prices are exhorbitant and their help is NON EXISTANT - I can't even get a schematic to get it fixed. they have left me stranded and isolated and probably expect me to pay in excess of $10.000.00 to upgrade.

    DO NOT BUY ONE!

I feel for you on this one as the same happened to me many years ago when routers were much much more expensive then they are nowadays. If the same were to happen all over again I would rip out all the electronics and go with Gecko and Mach3. Unfortunately you can’t wait for someone to help you (Manufacturer or Australian Distributor) as it hasn’t and won’t happen. Although you paid good money for someone else to take care of these matters, you have to forget about them and take on the responsibility yourself. Once you do this, nothing in the machine will be a secret to you and you’ll have full control of what happens instead of being jerked around by people that are happy to take your money and then hide when the problems start.

A good reliable source of commercial routers in Aus Is A.R.T in Brisbane.
An associate of mine has two working every day for some years now.
