Ive got to see what comes out of my AG complaint before I do anything.
Then I will have to see if I can repair the x drive stepper connector myself. Besides it came with gecko steppers.
Though it does have a separate set of connectors for the servos also. But there is no documentation on the unit. They consider that to be propietary trade secret type stuff. But if I can repair it then I will sell it. Otherwise it will be sold as extra parts for other people I guess.

But in the pictures you can see two rows of 4 connectors in the bottom of the picture. Actually you see 3 and then 4. The top row is for steppers the bottom for servos The top row right most connector is missing. This is what happens when you dont screw down the geckos to the heatsink and then ship it so the geckos are standing straight up in the air with no support. You will notice that there are no holes in the heatsink and no heatsink compound either. If they had screwed down the geckos or shipped it on its side with the geckos down it would have been ok. The control box was shipped in its shipping box taped to the inside of the main shipping crate. So dynacnc was in direct control of the box orientation when it shipped.

    control box

Actually that control box is a very effective CNC control box. It was developed by a very reputable company, and contains all the components to run a router/spindle/thc/torch, as long as the programming is done on the control box, which unfortunately is propietary. The benefit of the DY4000 control box is it is one unit, not seperate units, trying to work together. Most users of that box find it very conveinant to use, since resetting etc... is as simple as unplug, and pwr back up. It is too bad lowpull has to go through this because the control box is actually nice and easy to use, when the geckos are installed!

    Very Disappointed!

This is my first post (copy). I bought a DynaCNC Machine. I wanted everyone to know how disappointed I am in that fact that I have NOTHING to complain about. The machine arrived Early, it worked right out of the box, I never needed any help or documentation due to the fact that my 10 year old passed the round peg in the round hole test and could put the "x" plug in the "x" hole. Real easy even a 10 year old could do it. I cut product the first day!

    Good Job DynaCNC!

I hope to learn from you folks in the future.

oh and "lowpull": I read all of you posts. What a nightmare.

Ok guys, I let this thread run along to see what happened. But sorry to say, when you can't debate without jumping on each other you are forcing the rules of this web site.

    Please keep to the subject.
Yes, as tholsson wrote, the history repeats itself.

    DynaCNC

DynaCNC / Dynamic Plastic, Inc. does not subscribe to doing business on the CNCZONE or any other Internet forum. We do not slander, embarrass, harass, free advertise, or discuss issues or problems on this or any other forum. It is Dynamic Plastic, Inc. policy to do business the professional way: Via phone conversations or direct correspondence.

Issues stated or comments made on the CNCZONE or other forums where alias names are used and applied to cover the true identity of an individual are not ever to be trusted regardless if the comments are good or bad. I use the alias "DynaCNC". It is pretty obvious where this is coming from. If any person, vendor, former vendor, former employee, or customer has a problem with my company or myself you are welcome to call me directly and discuss the issues. (360-794-3648) The CNCZONE is NOT the place to display, post, or provide company documentation, correspondence, or communications between customers, vendors, former vendors, or former employees. If you want a problem solved call our tech support line or directly to me. We will do our very best to satisfy and remedy the situation as quickly as possible. The CNCZONE is for constructive, helpful, and learning comments that better the CNC community.

To avoid any further confusion about or warranty and liability agreement I will post it on our web site at www.dynacnc.com for all to see prior to any purchases. To make it clear: We have NEVER refused or turned down a request to view or read our warranty prior to a purchase. We will NEVER refuse to show our warranty to anyone requesting to view it prior to a purchase. PERIOD! I am proud of our warranty as it exceeds most all competitive products on the market.

For over 4 years Dynamic Plastic, Inc. has been very proud of providing a quality product for the money spent in it's class of machine. I have hundreds of very satisfied customers making money with their standard or custom equipment purchased from our company as compared to the handful of customers that have either falsely or truly complained on an internet forum with an alias user ID. We have consistently improved our product and as the company has grown eliminated any unsatisfactory vendor products from our product line and repaired internal problem areas as fast as we can. Like all companies we have our challenges, we are not perfect. We strive to be the best machine value for the money spent.

First (360-794-3648) is the general number to the company not a direct line to David Cress. I have asked the office manager or receptionist many times to speak to David Cress or have David Cress call me back. It has never happened.

Second my name is Bill Bright I live in the panhandle of Texas. I liked to pull low when I skydived and base jumped hence I earned the name lowpull.
I am an un-employed father of three. That will change to self employed once I get the machine running. I have no other income coming in. This table was to be the core of my new business. All the jobs that I had lined up that people were waiting on have now dried up due to the delays. But I hope to have it running soon. I have just finished the controller that I built to replace the one that Dynacnc refused to accept under their RMA number they issued.

    Third
the above statement says "dynacnc / dynamic plastic, inc. does not subscribe to doing business on the cnczone or any other internet forum. we do not slander, embarrass, harass, free advertise, or discuss issues or problems on this or any other forum. it is dynamic plastic, inc. policy to do business the professional way: via phone conversations or direct correspondence."
Go back and read Dynacncs old postings, I think that they will show that this not the case. Earlier in this thread, Dynacnc has been discussing issues and problems.
Dynacncs phone conversations and direct correspondance policy hasnt been working well either. I didnt even get the courtesy of a phone call or email when Dynacnc refused to accept the broken controller that Dynacnc had issued an RMA on. The message I left on the technical support phone line wasnt returned. I had to call Dyancnc's office manager to find out why the packages had been refused. Not only was my controller not fixed, I was out the shipping and insurance value also. If Dynacnc was not going to fix it after saying they would, they could have notified me of this before I shipped it on my own dime.
So excuse me if I read the above comments with sceptisism.

They only good thing that I have read is that Dynacnc will be posting the limitation and liablilty warranty document so people can read it before their purchase.

I havent even pulled the controller out of the box I shipped it to Dynacnc in.
I will let the complaints that I have filed with the WA state Attornys office and the BBB run their course. If these complaints go nowhere then I will gut the controller and get as much money out if it as I can.

This thread started out as my experience so far with ordering Dynacnc. It could have been good or bad. I never expected it to turn out to be this bad, or to still be talking about it this late in the year.

I just posted this on another thread in the cnczone and thought that I would repost it here also.

I just want to say that I have had a very good phone conversation with David Cress on the phone today for a good period of time. I heard his concerns and he heard mine. Now that I have spoken with him I will sign the license and liability document, because now I have no reason not too. They are going to repair my controller and test it. In another thread I mentioned that I was upset with the salesman that I had but I hoped that the machine would be stellar. After this phone call I again have high hopes for that stellar performance. Just as I reported the downsides, I will report the upsides.

i feel you lowpull on dyna. have had ours for almost 2yrs and had to do the same thing on here to get ol dave to respond. we have pretty much rebuilt our table ourselves because of dyna not doing their job before it left their company. it is a decent machine but by far there are better for the money and less. torchhead has helped me in the past and they don't even deal with him anymore. the tech guy that was there when we bought ours doesn't even work there anymore. so for anyone with questions about buying one, i wouldn't.

back on topic. good luck lowpull. hope you get it working. if we can help let me know. we have probably had the same probs and we got them figured out.

truth hurts i guess. you people don't handle confrontation real well. if you think people aren't going to use this site for this kind of info, you need shut it down. this site is real informative, and that is what people are doing. informing others of their experiences and projects and such. you get ripped like a few of these folks have and i bet you would want to be in that cage i was talking about.
facts are facts. as long as we are human, feelings will be hurt.
