Rotary Tutorial for Aspire & V-Carve

I'm putting together a tutorial on rotary machining with Aspire and V-Carve. It is a work in progress that I hope to have completed by March 2010.

    rotary on cut3d?

I presume that cut3d works on the same engine as the other vectric titles. Then, may I assume that the rortary gadget could also be applied within cut3d? That would be neat.
    cheers, Maarten Visser

Cut3D does not support a rotary axis.

I've updated the tutorial and included examples for a Y mounted indexer. Please review these. When they are satisfactory I'll generate a set for X mounted indexers. Please review at:

It looks like things are stable enough that I can start translating some of the Y axis examples into examples that will work with X mounted indexers. I hope to have that done by the end of next week.

I enjoyed meeting others at Jim McGrew's Aspire gathering this past weekend.
A copy of the PowerPoint I used for the talk on "Designing For Rotary" is available at:
    http://www.222artisans.com/Columbia/...gForRotary.ppt

I tried to include material for non-rotary users so they could see how to take round designs and use them for flat machining.

I did NOT use every slide. That would have been death by PowerPoint, but I wanted to be prepared for questions regarding some of the rotary gadgets.
